In your browser nothing you paste is uploadedMD5 and SHA-1 are both broken for anything security related: an attacker can construct two different inputs with the same digest. They are here because you sometimes need to match a checksum somebody else produced. Do not use either to store a password, and do not use a plain SHA for that either — password hashing wants bcrypt, scrypt or Argon2.
This checks one thing. A scan reads your whole repository and tells you what an attacker would find first.
